INTERMEDIATES: Intermediates Final group game against Mungret will take place in Late September.

MINORS:Minors played their final group game last Friday evening when Dromin Athlaca were the visitors to the GAA Field. Very entertaining game took place between the two teams and very high scoring game.
In the first half we got two goals and these came from Evan Wright after good build up work by Bernard Kennedy and Matthew O' Dea who laid off a pass to the on running Evan wright and he struck it to the back of the net.The second goal came from Jack Heelan after good battling in the square led to a ground stroke and the ball in the back of the net.At the half time break it was Dromin Athlaca who led 4-7 to 2-5.
Into the second half and it was Dromin Athlaca who got the better start and had a quick couple of goals . Credit to the lads they naver gave up and kept plugging away out third goal came from Kevin wixted and some fine Indivual scores came from Matthew O' Dea, Dylan Mulqueen and Bernard Kennedy.
The lads kept battling to the end and with a bit of luck in front of goals could have had a few more goals and be a a lot close and the end of the game.
Final Whistle it was Dromin Athlaca 7-15 Caherline 3-15.Well done to all the lads.

Minors Campaign has now come to the end for 2014. In the Group we played Ballybricken, Glenroe,Feoghanagh/Castletown,Dromin Athlaca and we received a walkover from Granagh Ballingarry.
Thanks to Selectors Sean Mckenna,Bernard Kennedy, Liam Nelligan, Club Secretary Paddy McCarthy , John Hickey for supplying Sloithars and Hurleys and Declan Long First aid.
Club would like to thank all our players for attending training and the matches this season we had a mixture of players at the minor age and newer players just eligible for the grade. It was good development for all the players and one that will benefit the club going forward.

U8:Well done to our U8's last Friday evening when they took part in a hurling blitz in the UL North Campus. Over 17 children on the evening took part. Great skills on display from all the players. Thanks to the club Coaches and their parents for all the support on the evening.
