Claughaun GAA club notes

July 23, 2014
U14 Hurling
Claughaun 3-08 Castletown Ballyagran 3-07. In a very entertaining game we won by a point having been down by 6 points early in the game the lads battled back and now won their third game in a row. Well done lads. We are out Wednesday night at home.

U12 Hurling
U12 hurlers played Blackrock away.

U21 Football
We lost to Monaleen last Thursday night in a game that we lead by 5 points early in the second half but Monaleen hit a few goals in the space of a couple of minutes and won handy in the end. Hard luck to the team, they didn't deserve to lose by that much.

U8 Hurling
The U8 hurlers played a blitz in UL last Friday night. We played Kildimo, South Liberties and Old Christians. Well done to all.

Club Lotto
The next draw will take place on Monday 28th July. The jackpot stands at €1,400. Tickets available in the clubhouse or online at locallotto.ie

Well done to the Limerick Minor team who beat Waterford to retain the Munster Championship. Best of luck to the Limerick Senior team this Sunday versus Wexford.
