LOTTO: There was no winner of last week's jackpot of €10,600, numbers drawn were 4, 6, 27 and 32. The next jackpot will be €10,900. Our four lucky dip winners were: M. Burke, P. Butler, G. Cosgrave and P. Marsh/K. Burke Tickets can be purchased on a weekly basis from local shops and pubs. Please support us as this support is vital to the development of the club.
Monaleen GAA Duck Race - August 9th at 7 p.m. in Annacotty Village. This is our inaugural duck race, and promises to be a very entertaining evening. This event is sponsored by The Black Swan in Annacotty, and ducks are on sale in local shops, at €5 each or 3 for €10.00. You can also contact Alan Kitson, Caroline O'Kane, Bernard Carroll, Tony Power, Shane Mullane and Keenan Mullane, who will happily supply the ducks.
Summer Camp - Monaleen GAA are considering running a camp during the week of August 18th - 22nd, for children aged 6 - 12. If you are interested, please contact Caroline at 087 6448807
Field Development: Following further consultations, revised drawings have been submitted to Limerick City and County Council.

Congratulations to our Minor Footballers who beat Ballybrown recently in the Premier Championship with a scoreline of 2-14 to 1-16.

Intermediate hurling training continues in UL Tuesdays and Thursdays for the next few weeks at 7:30. 

The Munster Minor Hurling Final replay is fixed for Thurles on Tuesday next, 22nd July at 7pm. Well done to Andrew, Lorcan, Jamie, Ed and Cian.

Super Sunday: A fabulous day out was had by all in the clubhouse on Sunday afternoon, with a dedicated children's play area so that parents could watch the match. Congratulations to Mary Golden who won the signed Limerick Jersey. It was a great day even if the result wasn't what we wanted.

The POC SAOR continues this week with the cream rising to the top. Gerry Collins and Mark O' Dwyer are still the only two to record 12/12. .

Gaelic for Mothers & Others: Our Gaelic for Mothers and Others is now into its third week. We train on Wednesday nights from 8p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Clubhouse Field. Each week more and more are coming along, for what is proving to be an hour of great fun.
U10/U8: The girls are on a break at the moment and will be back to it in the first weeks of September then!

JUVENILE HURLING & FOOTBALL: Don't forget the mouthguards! All juvenile fixtures (U13-U16) for the year are now available on the calendar on the website. (www.monaleen.gaa.ie/club-calendar)

2001 Football: Training takes place each Tuesday evening at 7.15 p.m.
2002 Footballers: Training each Monday at 6.30pm in Peafield Road.
U6/U7/U8 Hurling, U6's (2008) group have now finished up for the summer break.
U8's (2006) & U7's (2007). Blitz on 18th Jul.
U6/U7/U8 Football : now training Mondays at the Clubhouse at 6.30 p.m
U11 Hurling: Training continues on Fridays in Peafield 6pm.
U11 Football: Training 6.30 p.m. Monday evenings in Newtown Field.
U12 Football: Training 6.30 p.m. Monday evenings in Newtown Field.
U13 Football: Training continues on Tuesday evening s at 7:15 at the clubhouse
U14 : Training continues most Mondays and Fridays in the meantime until our upcoming game against Cois Lea Gaels.
U16 Football: Training for U15's and U16's has been changed to Thursday at 7.30 in Newtown.
U16 hurling: Training continues on Sunday afternoons 3pm, clubhouse pitch

Having a Party? The Clubhouse is available to hire for private parties - 21st, 30th, 40th, Christenings/Communions, etc. Talk to Tony Power, Caroline O'Kane or Paudie Ryan in the Bar

CLUB GEAR: Monaleen Club Sports Gear is available to purchase from the Castletroy Car Care shop next to SuperQuinn in the Castletroy Shopping Centre.
Monaleen GAA Club car stickers are now available from the clubhouse and a variety of sellers. €3 each or 2 for €5. Proudly show your support for your club.
