Two-time Limerick All-Ireland U21 winning hurler Ronan Lynch is set to line out for the county's footballers this year.

Lynch was a notable absentee as the Treaty hurlers ended their 45-year wait for Liam MacCarthy Cup honours last year. He is also absent from John Kiely's panel for 2019 and, according to the Limerick Leader, will now link up the footballers instead.

The Na Piarsaigh clubman hasn't been included in the panel for Sunday's McGrath Cup semi-final against Cork, but is expected to come into the picture after that.

Tommy Childs (Galtee Gaels) and Brian Donovan (Monaleen) are also poised to rejoin Billy Lee's football squad.
