GAA LOTTO: No jackpot winner, numbers drawn were 8, 9, 10, 19. Lucky dip winners were John Murphy, Han & Mary, Ger Coffey, Robyn Merrick & Pat Buckley. Next weeks jackpot will be worth €3300 and the draw will be held on Friday night in Lynch's Bar.

 

INTER PARISH LEAGUE - the first group of our inter-parish hurling matches took place on Saturday evening last on astro-turf in South Liberties...4 games were played in total, Newtown Rovers leading the table at this early stage...Round 2 is planned for next Saturday from 6pm - 7pm in South Liberties, come along and support your townsland !

 

U-14 HURLING: Our U-14 Feile game v Ahane takes place this coming Wednesday, February 21st, @ 7pm in St. Patrick's, Rhebogue.

 

U-21 HURLING: Our U-21 hurlers received a walkover from Croom in Round 1 of the County U21 13 A Side Hurling competition. We're scheduled to play Granagh/Ballingarry this coming Sunday at home at 12 noon in Round 2.

 

JUVENILE TRAINING: Training continues as normal this week, new members are always welcome. Our U-8 hurlers will return to training on Monday February 19th, from 6pm - 7pm, at the hurling wall. Reminder that our U6's return to training on Friday March 2nd in the Millennium Centre. 

 

AWARD 1 YOUTH COURSES: Reminder to all coaches that Limerick GAA Coaching and Games Development will be running an Award 1 Youth course over the coming weeks, we would encourage all eligible coaches to attend. The cost of the course is €50, payable on the first night. The course will be run in Bruff on Tues Feb 27th (7:00pm-10:00pm), Tues March 6th (7:00pm-10:00pm), Tues March 13th (7:00pm-10:00pm), Tues March 20th (7:00pm-10:00pm), Sat March 24th (9:00am-1:30pm) & Tues March 27th (7:00pm-10:00pm).  

 

SPORTS FIRST AID: Limerick Sports Partnership are running a Sports First Aid course on March 3rd in The South Court Hotel, from 10:00am - 4:00pm. The cost of the course is €45. As a club, we can never have enough people trained in basic sports first aid and it would be great to have coverage across all age grades within the club. CLUB LIMERICK DRAW: The Club Limerick Draw was officially launched by Limerick Gaa in The Gaelic Grounds last Saturday evening. Still plenty of time for people to join, the first draw will take place at the end of March - remember, at least €50 of every membership goes directly to OUR CLUB, so we would welcome your support throughout 2018.
