They then go back to a pub in Carrick for team building where they have a stripper organised.....no wonder other teams around the county have no respect for them!!"
I heard stories about how some (a minority in fairness) St Mary's players "celebrated" after the last county final they won and I'm not suprised

Carrick what is happening with this good club not like them,it is not good 2 weeks away from the championship.Even though it is hard to look beyond mohill or manor, ballinamore and fenagh look a good bet for intermediate.

this weekend

willies v mohill - away win
ballinamore v dromahair home win
Drumshambo v Carrick home win
village v kinlough away win
ned v gort home win
annaduff v manor away win

2 close games to be had in drumshambo and up the mountain for very different reasons
drumshambo lose and its good bye almost to a league semi final as they have 2 tricky last games to gort away wholl be scrapping for everything and manor at home, hard to see ballinamore lose 2 from 3 which would let drumshambo back in

Absolutely ridiculous to concede a league final , they only won the semi final the previous weekend, surely numbers arent that tight in Carrick?

Not really fair on aughvas I'm sure they would have preceded have won league by beating Carrick. I've never heard of a team conceeding a league final before. Must be very rare

carrick have very few players in the 18-22 age bracket, only three I can think of that tog out for the seniors/ div 3. As for the 'team building' someone posted here I believe that was a stag party that had nothing to do with the club. some would want to not believe everything they hear down the grapevine!

Marys look to be in big trouble. Promising start to the league for a change but results since then have been shambolic. They seem to be missing an awful lot of players in fairness. 2 Farrells, C McWeeney, C O'Reilly in America, 2 Flynns transferred, M McWeeney and McGrail injured, to name but a few.
They usually pull it together in time for Champo, but with their recent form, I wouldn't be surprised to see them struggle in their 'weaker' group.
