Eddie 1 here

I only noticed now that Hoganstand omitted half of my adventure to Wicklow that I posted last night.

Here's the missing bit

Herself and myself hit off for Bray on Saturday morning
Now Bray is a special place for both of us as we went there on our honeymoon over 30 years ago.
We stayed the night in Bray, had a 99 and a mineral and came home next morning to milk the cows. The good old days.

Back to the present ,we found a B & B on the seafront and wandered around .We stumbled on Bray Boxing Club in the Harbour, the training base for Katie Taylor and her Olympic gold medal. When you look at the club and see the facility you wonder how it produced such an incredible boxer. It makes you think, maybe we use poor facilities as an excuse. The individual is more important than the facilities. The Harbour area is unusual in that ducks and swans are walking around on the path and eating whatever food is given to them. You could say we were swanning around.

The seafront has not changed much but there is a SEALIFE Aquarium on the front that is worth a visit. There are 1000 creatures including BlackTip Reef Sharks,Octopus,Seahorses, Stingrays and Red Bellied Piranhas. I went face to face with a shark ( he was in a tank) and he backed off. I think it was the Leitrim jersey. We finished off our walk around with a 99 and a Jameson. There is something about the SEAFRONT, that you don't get in Carrigallen .

Sunday morning we left Bray and headed to Aughrim.

There you have it. It was a mighty weekend

We are going Up

UP Leitrim

have to be honest, I was worried at half time. first half was poor. but fair play to all the lads, put in a super display against a strong wind in the second half. mulligans influence was immense. the amount of ground he covered, his scoring and his general play and vision. a real leader. james glancy also had a great game, fair play to him, certainly proving his point after being dropped. the competition for places is great. was delighted to see brennan get a run out, hopefully he will get a run again v Waterford.
hagan is doing a great job. and its clear to see the team spirit within the panel.
please god we can keep this up! im on a high after aughrim yesterday not taking 2 points from dungarvan for granted at all.
best of luck to fergal Clancy, a hopefully speedy recovery and himself and mossie back asap
keep it up lads!!

Is the oul memory playing tricks Eddie, are you sure it wasn't a 69 and a mineral 30 years ago?

You will have some stories to tell if Leitrim make it to Croker, eddie1. Which is looking likely, but ye have to finish the job. Same as our selves...

Good luck for the rest of the year. Hope you drive on and get promotion.

And Lowes effort was a goal. Was in line with it and couldn't believe it wasn't given.
