they are a big enough football club but melvin gales would be a bigger club

HA!

Genuinely one of the funniest things I've ever had the fortune to come across! The future of Irish comedy is in great stead.

Melvin Gaels a bigger club than Ballyshannon? Who happen to be one of the most successful and biggest clubs in Donegal. Even despite their current position which by all accounts is being ironed out with a highly impressive underage set up something they've done countless times in their history.

I think the fact that this poster hasn't spelt Melvin Gaels properly would suggest its not a kinlough person. Don't think anybody in kinlough would admit they're a bigger club. It's a pity aodh ruadh find themselves in their current position , de la salle closing was a huge blow for the club. They've some encouraging minors from that successful team that came up, but there doesn't seem to be any other Prospering underage teams coming out of ballyshannon.

Ps none of ye above posters have a clue what you're on about

Samsforthehills, when i was comparing ballyshannon and melvin gales i was talking about melvin gaels being a bigger club at the moment in terms of winning senior championship and contesting the div 1 final. I no the history of the ballyshannon club and they are a big club in donegal. but at present melvin gaels are gainning more success on the field

Who cares who are the bigger club up there. One is in Donegal and one in Leitrim. We down here in South Leitrim don't l,ook to our neighbours in Roscommon, to judge who are the bigger club. The loss of Mulligan alone is enough for Melvin Gaels to handle, not how big a club they are. If what is being said is true, that Mulligan, was let leave the club, without any Melvin Gaels officials, making any attempts, to try and persuade him to stay, then it says allot of how big a club they really are. I know if St Mary's, or any other club, were going to loose a player like him, I believe all attempts would be made to get him to stay. So lads don't start talking how big your clubs are, because its the players, that make it or break it, Ballyshannon were the king pins at one stage in Donegal, Melvin Gaels had there year in 2012 and maybe the Fenagh cup is going south in 2013.

Having public forums is great if used correctly but when used like this... well I will let you all decide. A terrible beauty is born.

Keepitdown you are so right. 94allstar is without a few slates up top. But on a serious note these public discussion forums can be nasty at times. Not pleasant to certain individuals. People should remember that players, refs and other officials have family
