Gortletteragh GAA Club Notes

July 18, 2017

Club Notes 17th July

Congratulations

Congratulations to Cathal & Olivia McCrann on the birth of their son Fionn last week, a little brother for Dara and a future Gortletteragh footballer no doubt.

Leitrim Juniors

Best of luck to Seamus and the Leitrim Junior panel as they take on Kerry in the All Ireland Junior Semi Final at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick on Saturday.

Division 1

Minus a few players, we shipped a loss to Allen Gaels last Wednesday night and had no game at the weekend. Attention now turns to the championship and we are out in two weekstime.

Division 3

Being short a few regulars cost us as we came up short against Melvin Gaels in the Division 3 League Semi Final on Sunday morning. We remain in Division 3 for 2018, despite a very good campaign. Hard luck to the lads and management.

Cairde Liatroma Draw

Cairde Liatroma is a new Development Draw being organised to support Leitrim GAA and is like fund-raising ventures in many other counties. Supporters of Cairde Liatroma are asked to make a monthly contribution of €10 by way of bank standing order, or a yearly contribution of €100. There are monthly draws for individuals and club prizes also. There will also be yearly draws with 5 club prizes of €1,000 and to individual prizes of €1,100.  Entries are available from Barry Costello or Colum Fox.

Cúl Camps

Cúl Camp will be in full swing at the time of reading with lots of fun and skills being enjoyed by the kids at the park.

Coiste na nÓg Draw

Tickets are available for the Annual  Leitrim GAA Minor Board draw from any club officer. €2 per ticket or 3 for a €5.
