An investigation is set to be launched by the Leitrim GAA into a brawl that marred the end of a club SFC match.

Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada was the venue for the clash between Annaduff and Gortletteragh last Saturday evening.

Gortletteragh came out on top by 2-09 to 0-13 in the group two clash, but what happened at the final whistle was the major talking point.

A melee broke out and it is alleged that supporters from both sides jumped the fence and became embroiled in the row.

It took a number of minutes before order was restored, but there is set to be major repercussions for both clubs.

The Leitrim board are awaiting the referee's report before choosing what course of action to take.
