As was the case in 2014, defending senior football champions Aughawillan can't afford to lose their final group game.
Last weekend's narrow 0-12 to 1-8 defeat to Glencar/Manorhamilton has left the holders on the brink heading into their last group outing against Bornacoola.
Even a draw for Sean Pierson's side will secure them at least an eighth-place play-off, while victory could see them progress automatically to the quarter-finals as runners-up in the group (unless Carrigallen beat Glencar/Manor).
But a win for Bornacoola would see the holders consigned to the relegation play-offs.
Last year, after losing to St Mary's and Glencar/Manor in the group stage, the 'Willies regrouped via the play-offs and went on to capture the Fenagh Cup.
