Leitrim minor manager Shane Heslin admits that conceding four goals in any match makes it difficult to come back from.

That's what happened his young guns last weekend as Sligo's four goals helped them to a Connacht MFC quarterfinal win over Leitrim.

However, it was Leitrim that dominated for long periods and Heslin was disappointed that they conceded four goals during a game, they could have won.

"Goals win matches," Heslin told the Leitrim Observer. "Sligo got two goals in three minutes in the first half when we were well in the game and it slipped away from us after that.

"We fought back I thought very well in the second half to get within  one or two points but it got away from us."
