Leitrim Football:
Hard luck to Cathal McCrann, Niall Woods, the Leitrim Team and Management on their defeat to Louth in the qualifiers on Saturday evening last in Drogheda. This finishes off their matches for 2015 and thanks for all their efforts in both league and championship. Hopefully some of the players who were missing this year will return next year to help the promising players who are already involved.
Leitrim Minors:
It wasn't a good weekend for Leitrim Inter-County championship teams as our minors were defeated by Sligo in Pairc Sean on Saturday last. Hard luck to Manager Shane Heslin, club players Jack Heslin, Francie Flynn and the Leitrim Team.
League:
It's back to league action next weekend when our seniors play Dromahair away on Saturday at 7pm. Junior's play Kiltubrid away on Sunday next at 12 in Division 2. This will probably be both teams last outing before the club championship commences.
Congratulations:
Congrats to club player Derek Kellegher who got married to Cliona Ward on Saturday. Derek represented both club (we hope he's not finished yet) and County at every level. Derek and Cliona took part in the very successful strictly come dancing fundraiser ran by the club a couple of years ago. We wish them all the best for the future.
