Division 5:
Our third team was in action at the weekend but unfortunately were well beaten by Cloone's second team.  We play Aughavas on Sunday next in Division 5 at 12 o'clock in the park.

Football Championship:
Good luck to Cathal, Niall and all the Leitrim lads when they take on Louth in the qualifiers next Saturday at 7pm in Drogheda.  A win would be nothing less than they deserve for the effort the team and management has put in all year.

Marriage:
Congratulations to former Gortletteragh footballer Ollie McGowan on his marriage to Vanessa Gill on Saturday last.  A great day was had by all.  There were plenty of ex-players, current players and referees in attendance.  Also present on the day was Seanie and Seamus two former star full backs for the green and gold but Ollie maintained he was the best No. 3 in the room.  We wish Ollie and Vanessa all the best for the future.

Fundraising Cycle:
The Club's Annual Fundraising Cycle took place on Sunday last.  A willing bunch of participants took part in both the 15K and 30K events.  Ciaran Egan was first home in the 15K while Ciara Keenan was first lady home.  In the 30k event Terry Kellegher was first across the line with Margaret Keighran first of the ladies.  Thanks to everyone who took part or helped out in any way on the day.  Thanks especially to Longford Rose Daphne Howard who was special guest on the day.
