Connacht GAA Senior Football Championship:

On Sunday last Leitrim's participation in the Connacht Senior Championship came to an end when we went down to Galway by 8 points.  With a relatively young and inexperienced team our lads can still take plenty of positives from the game.  If all the squad stays together progress can be made in this year's qualifiers and in the next few years.  Gortletteragh's two representatives Cathal McCrann and Niall Woods acquitted themselves well on the day.

Fixtures:
It's back to the club league next weekend with our second team down to play Fenagh in Division 2 on Saturday evening at 7pm in Gortletteragh.  Then Sunday at 12 o'clock our first team play St Mary's away.  These fixtures could be subject to change so make sure you check times with someone from the club before heading off to either of these matches.
