Gortletteragh GAA club notes

Under-age Registration & Training:
Registration for all Under-6's, Under-8's, Under-10's and Under-12's will take place on Saturday next, 4th April 2015 at 10.30am in the park. Training will commence on the day also at 10.30am for all these underage players. All Under-6's must be accompanied by a parent / adult. Please note all underage players must wear a mouth-guard during training and games.
2015 Championship Draws:
The 2015 Championship draws took place in The Bush Hotel on Monday night. We were drawn with Annaduff, St Mary's and Dromahair in the Senior Championship. In Junior A we were drawn with Drumkeerin, Sean O'Heslin's and Melvin Gaels.
David McPartland R.I.P.
The Club would like to offer its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of the late David McPartland who passed away last week. David lived just across the road from the Club grounds and he represented the club at underage level. His son Darragh plays for the club and he was a member of the Minor team who was beaten in the League Final a couple of weeks ago. As a mark of respect to David and his family, the Club's Division 5 and Under 14 games were called off at the weekend. May he Rest in Peace.
Inter County:
Leitrim Senior Team continued their winning ways on Sunday last with a comprehensive win over Carlow in Dr Cullen Park, Carlow. Once again our two representatives Cathal McCrann and Niall Woods equitted themselves well. Leitrim's final game in this year's league is against Waterford on Sunday next in Pairc Sean, this will be the last chance to see them in action until the championship.
County Minors:
Our County Minors had another great win on Saturday last in Mohill when they defeated Longford by 3-8 to 2-10. The Club was represented by Jack Heslin who scored a grand total of 2-5 and Francie Flynn. Well done to the lads and their Manager Shane Heslin. They have two games left versus Galway and Mayo.
Leitrim GAA Supporters Club Draw:
The Leitrim GAA Supporters Club Draw was held in Cox's Steakhouse, Dromod on Saturday last. The winners were €5000 Kevin McGowan, Ballis, Co. Kildare. We would like to thank everyone who bought tickets off the club and congrats to Tom Ward on his win.
Under 14's:
Our Under 14's defeated Bornacoola by 6-2 to 2-5 in the 11 a side League on Monday evening in Dromod. Team: Killian McAuley, Mark Reynolds, Thomas Reel, Ciaran Reen, James Cunningham, Oisin Niblock, Brendan Davis, Shane Reynolds, Oran Heslin, Cian McNulty, Conor Niblock, Ryan Cunningham and Daire Heslin. The team is managed by Mark Heslin, Seamus Quinn and Thomas Keenan. Their next game is against St Brigid's on Friday 3rd April in the park at 6pm.
Division 5:
On Sunday next our Division 5 team take on Leitrim Gaels in the park at 12 noon. Training for all adult players is on this Wednesday night at 7.30pm. Division 1 and 2 Leagues start the weekend after next.
