Junior A Championship Final
We had no joy in Cloone in the Junior A Final, where we were defeated by a more powerful and efficient St Marys.  In the first half we missed a few key scoring opportunities, even with St Marys reduced to 14 players we didn't take advantage.  While St Marys took their chances when presented. We managed to stem the tide somewhat in the second half, however St Marys emerged as deserved winners on a score line of 0-14 to 0-7.  Congratulations to St Marys on a deserved win.  This game was the final competitive game of 2014 in all grades.  In a somewhat mixed year we tasted success at underage in several grades, while at adult level results were somewhat more mixed.  However many thanks to all our players & coaches who wore the club jersey with pride throughout the year.

Club AGM
With things winding down on the playing field, it is that time of the year when we turn to our Club AGM.  The provisional date has been set for Friday 21st November. Please keep this date free in your diary.  This is an opportunity for all our members, player, parents and supporters to have their input in how the club ran in the previous 12 months and how it should be run for the coming 12 months.  Any club member who wishes to have any motions or proposals discussed at the AGM should send same to the club secretary in advance.   Further information in the coming weeks.

Connaught Club
Congratulations to Aughawillian on your deserved victory in Sligo on Sunday in the Connaught Club Championship .  You have now taken over the mantle from Kiltubrid, as the last Leitrim team to win a championship game in the competition since our run in the competition in 2005. Onwards and upwards!!
