Results & Fixtures
Congratulations and well done to our minor team & management who have earned a well deserved place in the 13 a-side championship final. In an exciting semi final on Wednesday evening last in Aughnasheelin we overcame neighbours, St Francis, on a final score line of; Kiltubrid 4-9 St Francis 2-9. Thank you to the many Kiltubrid supporters who came out to cheer the team, and we look forward to seeing you back again in large and vocal numbers at the county final. The opposition in the final will be Melvin Gaels. As yet we have no official notification of when or where the final will take place, however in previous years this fixture has been the curtain raiser to the Intermediate County Final. More details on this next week.
The under 16 team start the 2014 championship on this Thursday 11th September with an away game to Gortletteragh at 7 pm in Gortletteragh.
On Friday night, September 12th, we play Allen Gaels in the Junior A championship semi-final. The game is fixed for 8 pm under lights in Cloone and your support would be appreciated.
Then just for good measure this comming Sunday, we play Allen Gaels again in league division 2 away in Drumshanbo at 12 noon.
The under 12 team have abye this week. Their next game is next Monday, September 15th, when we play Leitrim Gaels away in Leitrim.

All Ireland Final Tickets Draw
The draw for the Clubs All Ireland hurling & football tickets allocation were made at the September club meeting last week. The hurling ticket winners were Conor Mc Weeney & Conor Judge, while the winners of the football tickets were Karol Scollan & Paddy Kelly.

Underage coaching
Underage coaching continues for under 6, 8 & 10's on Saturday morning's from 10 to 11 am at the pitch. Remember it is important that all players continue to practice at home for a few minutes each day.

Club 5 K
Keep Sunday October 19th free for the upcoming Club 5 KM run/walk. You still have six weeks to prepare. Anybody looking for a simple training plan to get in shape for the event should e-mail [email protected] . The event is open to all and will have a number of age category prizes.

Kiltubrid Parish Annual Knock Trip
Takes place on Sunday 28th September. The bus will leave from Cardiff's, Drumcong at 10:30 am. Refreshments will be provided in Knock and a meal in Cardiff's Lakeside Tavern on return.
