Cloone GAA Notes

CLOONE GAA NOTES.
Our intermediate team had a good win against Fenagh ST Caillins on Saturday evening last in Ballinamore on a score line of Cloone 3 12 Fenagh St Caillins 0 7. After an indifferent first half we played some excellent football in the second half. If we retain this form in the remaining games it could be a year to remember. Well done to the team and management. Our next outing is a Div 2 league game V Bornacoola .Best wishes to Niall Quinn who got injured on Saturday last and hopefully won't be out of action for long.

SYMPATHY
The club would like to extend its sympathy to the Quinn family, formerly of Drumlegga Cloone on the death of Seamus in New Jersey. Seamus played for cloone at all ages and was goalkeeper on our Junior team that played in the 1980 junior final v aughawillan.

Work is progressing steadily on the walking track and associated developments in the park. This will really enhance our facilities when it is completed.
