AGM

At a very successful AGM on Friday last, four officers were taking a break and stepping down so thankfully there were members ready to take on the vacant roles, Outgoing Sec Colm Conway was replaced by Bridget Kilrane, John Farrell is now Insurance officer a post long held by Gary Canning. Breda Mulligan is new assistant Secretary. The position of Registrar held by Therese Foy will be filled at the next Executive meeting. Geraldine Walpole will take over from Lucia Tyrell as Health and Wellbeing officer and Seamus Kennedy will be Coaching Officer previously held by Barbara McManus. A big thank you to all the outgoing officers and good luck to the new volunteers under the leadership of Chairman Seamus Mitchell for 2020

Rose Reynolds RIP

The Club extend deepest sympathy to Sara, Mark and Tom on the death of their dear mother Rose last week. Rose and her husband Tom were instrumental in founding Mohill Ladies GAA back in 1994. Rose was a kind and gentle woman that all the young girls and everyone loved. The Ladies Club has prospered since then and the family can be justly proud of Rose and Tom’s great achievements. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sí.

Noelle McHugh RIP

The Club extend deepest sympathy to the family of a great lady Noelle McHugh who passed away last weekend. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

There was no winner of this week’s Jackpot of €9500, the numbers drawn were 2-11-23-29. Lucky Dip winners were, €70 Teresa Beck Mohill, €40 Tracey McLoughlin €20 Tina Slevin.
