Allen elected in central council role

December 17, 2014

In the battle of Laois GAA chairmen, it was Brian Allen who defeated Gerry Kavanagh in the race for the Central Council delegate role.

Allen won a convincing vote to take the position as he ran against the current chairman Gerry Kavanagh. Indeed, Allen also won the race for the delegates roles for Leinster and National congress meaning a clean sweep for the former chairman.

The only position on the executive which failed to be filled was that of PRO as Allen held this role before moving on to his Central Council position.
