Kilkenny hero Jackie Tyrrell has reiterated his recent retirement comments.
The 33-year-old hinted this week that he could well have played his last game for Kilkenny after helping the Cats triumph to their 36th All-Ireland SHC title with victory over Galway earlier in the month.
Speaking to KCLR96FM today, the seven-time All-Ireland SHC winner conveyed that he has yet to make a decision on his future but says he'd be foolish to rule out the possibility of not returning to inter-county duty in 2016.
"It's definitely in my head at the minute, I'm thinking it up as I say, you know, the age profile, injuries, things like that," said the James Stephens man.
"I would be foolish to think that it's not a possibility this year you know, it is a young man's game.
"I'm not saying I am retiring, I'm just saying that I'm very much thinking about it."
