Retired Kilkenny star Tommy Walsh was a role model for thousands - including his younger siblings Padraig and Grace.
Both took to twitter yesterday to pay tribute to the cavalier wing back who won nine All-Ireland medals and nine All Stars in a glittering career.
Padraig followed in Tommy's footsteps by winning his first Celtic Cross this year, while Grace has played for Kilkenny in the last two All-Ireland camogie finals, which ended in defeat to Galway and Cork.
A sad day to see the big guy retire, gave us years of excitement, tears and enjoyment watching him play.Congrats #tw5 pic.twitter.com/tywtPpqtl5
