Limerick coach Paul Beary is confident Declan Hannon cane make amends for his disappointing All-Ireland SHC semi-final showing 12 months ago.

21-year-old Hannon lasted just 20 minutes of the defeat to Clare having missed a number of frees but Beary has backed him to produce the goods at the second attempt.

"From his perspective, he (Hannon) sets very high standards for himself," Beary told the Irish Daily Star.

"Probably disappointed with his performance against Cork but Declan Hannon, the amount of practice time he puts in, we've fantastic faith in him.

"He's got great belief and faith in himself. He's just got to trust himself." Tweet
