Schools: Coláiste Eoin set up repeat of last year's Leinster final

Dublin's Coláiste Eoin will face St Kieran's of Kilkenny in the Leinster PPS 'A' SH final once again.

Coláiste Eoin will face holders St Kieran's in a repeat of last year's Leinster PPS 'A' SH final.

The Dublin school overcame Kilkenny CBS by 1-16 to 0-17 this afternoon, with a strong start helping them to a five-point half-time lead at the LOETB Laois GAA Centre of Excellence.

Padhraic Ó Luineacháin netted the game's only goal eight minutes after the resumption to extend Coláiste Eoin's advantage to eight points.

Kilkenny CBS clawed themselves back into the contest and trailed by two with five minutes to go but their opponents withstood the fightback.

Winners in four of the last five seasons, Kilkenny kingpins St Kieran's defeated Good Counsel, New Ross 1-15 to 0-13 in the other semi-final last Saturday.
