Anthony Cunningham says Dublin will give Kilkenny a warm welcome in Parnell Park.

The Dubs entertain the national hurling league winners in a mouth-watering Leinster SHC Round One clash at Donnycarney on Sunday and selector Cunningham reckons there's no better time or place to face the Cats in the round-robin phase:

"Look, it's a massive game to have. The best place to play Kilkenny is at home, and the first match, for sure. I think every team would see it as a challenge to play in Parnell Park - except Dublin, we like playing there," the former Galway manager told The Irish Sun.

"We're going to bring huge intensity, and so are Kilkenny. Whether you qualify first, second or third, it mightn't matter. But you have to qualify. You are putting all your effort into qualifying.

"We're no different to anyone else. We want to qualify - if we nick a home win, the last match or two could be very interesting."
