Clubs appoint managers

December 07, 2016

The appointment of club managers is a hot topic in Kildare at the moment.

Clubs across the country are busy preparing for next year's campaign and the main focus at the moment is the appointment of new management teams or ratifying the existing ones.

Two more clubs in Kildare have been sorted for the 2017 campaign as Kieran McManaman takes over his native club Clane.

McManaman was part of the Clane side that had a great run in the 1997 Leinster club senior football championship.

Meanwhile, former Kildare footballer and All-Star Karl O'Dwyer has been appointed manager of the Rathangan intermediate footballers.

O'Dwyer played for the club when he first came to the county before winning a Kildare SFC title with Round Towers in 2003.
