== Par 3 Golf outing update:  ==

The outing which was arranged by the senior hurlers last Saturday 22
Aug was a very successful and enjoyable day. Thanks is due the group
of six hurlers who organised the outing. Thanks also to the many teams
and club members who turned out to play. Also the individual club
members for their sponsorship  and the business community sponsors,
for their financial support and of course, to the Liffey Valley golf
club for the use of their course.
For the record, the winners were; 1st Stephen Murphy Team, 2nd Alan
Dunphy Team, 3rd Jordan Morrissey Team. Nearest the pin winner was Pat
White. Presentation of prizes was arranged for 20.00. hours in the
club on the day, however distribution of prizes to the winners will be
concluded over the coming days.

== All Ireland U10 Football Blitz ==

On behalf of the U10 Blitz Committee we would like to thank you for
all your support to make this event happen.

We had close to 1000 people on the day - we had 32 teams from 24 clubs
and 14 counties. From the 4 finals we had a winner from each
province:-

Cup Winner: Kilmacud Crokes - Dublin
Runners-Up: Celbridge GAA - Kildare

Shield Winner: Kilmurry Ibrickane - Co Clare
Runners-Up: Moyle Rovers - Tipperary

Trophy Winner: Tir Na nOg - Armagh
Runners-Up: Celbridge GAA - Kildare

Plate Winner: Barna - Galway
Runners-Up: Clann na nGael - Roscommon

Venue; Celbridge, Celbridge V Clane 7.15 PM

Senior footballers had a nail biting win against Moorefield in
Newbridge.
Celbridge 0:14   Moorefield  1:10.

Kildare Senior Camogie team beat Cork in Nolan park Kilkenny on Sat
22-August-2015 to reach the All Ireland Intermediate final in Croke
Park.

The final score was Kildare 1.12 Cork 0.11.
Our players played a huge part with Emer Reilly scoring 1.2 and Susie
O'Carroll scoring 0.5 of Kildares points.

Also involved from Celbridge are Niamh Concannon, Angela Lyons and
Hannah McDonnell.

Well done to the girls on their fantastic achievement.
