Senior Team
Our senior team lost out to Cappagh recently on a scoreline of 2-06 to 0-08. Their next game is away to Milltown where they will be hoping to bounce back.

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to Peter Fitzsimons, Lee Gorman, Lisa Gorman and anyone else who celebrates theirs around this time.


Last Man Standing Competition

Congratulations to Derek Jones who won this years competition. Derek collects the top prize of €500. The winner seller was John Wall. We'd like to thank everyone who entered this year and to all the sellers and organisers who made it a huge success once again. We look forward to doing it all again next year.

 

Castlemitchell Ladies

Seniors
The senior girls played Eadestown in the 4th round of the league and despite a good 2nd half performance were beaten by a very strong opponents. Next up they play carbury away.
U14 ladies
The girls travelled to Suncroft on Monday evening after being moved up 3 divisions and in a cracker of a match lost out by 2pts to very sporting opponents.
On Thursday evening they played Kill in rd 2 of the league and after a close first half Castlemitchell pulled away in the 2nd half despite a gallant effort from the Kill girls. Next up they play Raheens with training on Monday evening at 7pm.

U12 girls
Our U12 girls travelled to Rathangan and came away with a draw in a game where both teams showed remarkable knowledge of the skills of the game. Well done to both teams for playing the game in a very sporting manner.
U10 girls
These young ladies travel to Milltown to play their first match in their league and we wish them all the best.
U8 and U6 girls
These smashing young footballers train on Saturday mornings under the excellent coaches who work tirelessly for the future of the club.

Congratulations to Leanne Kelly Deveraux who won the girls Leinster boxing championship, to Sarah Doyle who made the Kildare U14 camogie team and Zoe Harris who is playing with the Kildare U12 development squad
Best wishes to Niamh Mulhall who is starring for Kildare minor ladies also Kasey Mac Conville who is with Kildare U14 team.
Best wishes to Bridge united U13 and U15 girls team who have reached their respective finals.


Membership
Just a reminder that membership is overdue and can be paid to Registrar Mick Brazil or any committee member.


Community Walkway

The community walkway is now complete around the perimeter of the GAA pitch and allows members to keep fit in a safe environment for as little as €15 for the year. All Welcome.
