Our B team will be play away to Raheens in their second game of the league. Best of luck to both teams.

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to Lee Gorman, Lisa Gorman, Colette Fitzpatrick, Kelsey Poynton and anyone else who celebrates theirs around this time.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Mark Fennelly and Natasha Donohoe on the birth of baby Ella last week.

Castlemitchell Ladies
Our senior ladies played Monasterevin in the league and despite a tremendous effort were unlucky to lose out. It also saw a superb scoring blitz from our county player Niamh Mulhall who scored 4-4.
This week the girls played Naas, and after a slow start we got right back in the match but just could not get that vital score. This was a great team effort with a lot of young players really impressing.

Our U14 team played St Josephs in a friendly and it was a good workout for both teams before their leagues start.

Best of luck to Zoe Harris and Kasey McConville with their respective county development squads.

Training continues on Saturday mornings for our U6 to U12 teams where the future stars strut their stuff under the supervision of our superb coaches
Flag Day
A big thank you to all who contributed and helped with our Flag Day Collection last week. All money raised goes towards our evergrowing Ladies football teams.

Training Hall
After years of hard work from our Development team, work has just begun on our new state of the art training hall. The club is growing at a tremendous pace at the moment. Our walkway is just completed around the pitches. Our 150  seater stand was completed just last year while we now field teams for all ages for both boy and girls. The future is bright for all our young and not so young 'Mitchells.

Last Man Standing Competition

We are now down to the last four people in our Last Man Standing Competition and ever closer to a winner of €500. This weeks selections will be tougher due to a limited number of games so we could see a winner very soon.
