== Results ==

Both Senior Teams did not have the best of starts to the County warm
up tournaments, The first team went down to Moorefield on Friday night
and the second team had a fruitless long journey to Rheban on
Saturday.

But pride of place must go to the Celbridge Boys Minor Team who had a
fine home three point win over League and Championship favourites
Newbridge Sarsfields. The lads looked the part in the new "Haven Hire"
sponsored Jersey's and worked very hard for their win, well done to
Mick Mullen, John Blessing and their Minor Panel and  best  of luck in
the tough challenges ahead. Next Sunday they journey to Caragh Village
to take on Raheens @ 11:45

The Senior Ladies continued their league and championship preparations
with a challenge match away to the Gardai in Clonsilla last Saturday.
The Management team were delighted with the full panel turn out and
especially the performance of the younger ladies who have stepped up
from Minor this year to the senior ranks.

Celbridge were well represented on the Kildare Senior Hurling team who
had a fine away win over recent Kehoe Cup winners Meath on Sunday
