Last final down for decision

December 17, 2014

This Thursday night is set to bring the curtain down of the 2014 GAA campaign.

The Jack Higgins Cup final takes place as junior football champions Straffan take on Reserve 'A' champions Moorefield at the Naas GAA grounds.

Straffan got a walkover into the final as Confey failed to field in the semi-final last weekend and they will be favourites against the Newbridge outfit.

The Cup commemorates the late Jack Higgins who was a Kildare stalwart during the 1920's and 30's.
