Under-21s bid for All-Ireland glory

September 10, 2014

Kildare under-21 hurlers head for Semple Stadium this Saturday where they will take on Roscommon in the All-Ireland 'B' final.

The match is the curtainraiser to the 'A' final between Clare and Wexford and a big crowd is set to attend the Thurles venue.

Kildare won their third consecutive Leinster title this year when beating Wicklow in the final, before receiving a bye into the final after Tyrone failed to field in the semi final.

They face a Roscommon side that beat a highly fancied Kerry outfit in the semi final and the Connacht side will go into the decider as slight favourites.

Throw in for the match on Saturday is 5.10pm and all Kildare GAA supporters are urged to show their support to the side this weekend.
