Sarsfields took on Junior C table toppers Castledermot in what proved to be a tough encounter for the home team. An injury to Sarsfields midfielder Eimear Dempsey early on didn't help matters. Castledermot opened the scoring on 10 mins and after that never looked back putting in a fine display of attacking football and scoring some lovely points from play. Sarsfields defense tried hard to counter the attacks and there were some solid displays from the home team but the girls from Castledermot had their shooting boots well and truly polished and ran out deserved winners in the end.
