Match report on Junior C champ game with thanks to Anne Bagnall.

Robert Emmetts played away to Milltown in the 4th round of the championship last night. This was a much improved performance by Emmetts. Milltown got on the scoreboard first scoring 2.02 in the opening 10 minutes .Then Orla Brennan scored a goal for Emmetts followed by 1.01 from Angela Kenny and 1 point from Nicole Gorey . Milltown scored another 1.03 before half time to see them lead by 4 points.
The second half saw Emmetts take some fine scores to draw level and then go ahead by a point. But Milltown were not done yet and finished strong in the last 5 minutes of play. There was improvement all over the pitch for Emmetts in what was a very exciting game to watch with both teams giving their all .Well done to all involved.
