The late Paddy O'Connell The death took place of Paddy O'Connell, Ballygologue Road, Listowel, suddenly and peacefully at Kerry General Hospital. Paddy was a very industrious and hard working man, a devoted husband and father and a great family man. He was also a superb footballer and played with Colunmacon for the 1949 to 1968 and won a North Kerry senior championship medal in 1954. At his graveside Fr Sean O Sheehy gave a very fitting tribute to Paddy. In the '60s Fr Sean O had the privilege of playing football with Paddy many times. Sympathy of the community is extended to his wife Mona, son Dan, daughters Margaret Catherine and Mary, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews and nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives and friends.
