Colm Cooper registered 0-7 as Dr Crokes finished with seven points to spare - 2-16 to 1-12 - over Kenmare District at Fitzgerald Stadium today.

The Pat O'Shea managed Killarney outfit were boosted by Kieran O'Leary's 26th minute goal and they led by 1-7 to 0-6 at the halfway stage.

Johnny Buckley raised a second green flag shortly after the resumption to place his side firmly in the driving seat.

A Teddy Doyle three pointer gave Kenmare a glimmer of hope but that was soon extinguished when Crokes hit five points without reply courtesy of Brian Looney (3) and Cooper (2).

After celebrating their fifth county title success in seven years, Dr Crokes will turn their attention to their provincial campaign.
