Cournane wary of Corofin challenge

November 13, 2015

St Mary's selector Noel Cournane is adamant that they will not be taking Clare side Corofin for granted in Saturday's Munster club IFC semi-final.

The Kerry intermediate champions have home advantage for this clash amid a hectic schedule as a number of their players are involved with South Kerry.

With little time to prepare properly for the match, Cournane stressed to the Kerryman that they will have to be at their best to see off the challenge of the Clare champions.

He said: "They are a side who have competed at this level before and if you look at the standard of Clare football teams competing in Munster, they certainly are getting stronger."
