Kerry manager Eamonn Kelly is looking ahead to the NHL Division 2A final against Westmeath.

The Kingdom booked their passage to the April 4th decider with victory over London last weekend and Kelly says reaching the final is a nice bonus:

"We said that it wasn't our priority but we weren't going to walk away from these games," the Tipperary man states in The Kerryman.

"These opportunities don't come around too often. We set out at the start of the year to try and give everyone on the panel am opportunity to make a stake for a place in the team.

"We have used 27 or 28 players now and we've had a good look at our panel going into the Christy Ring and what better way to go in now than with a league title behind us?"
