Wallace expecting tough test

Kerry junior manager Stephen Wallace is expecting a tough test against Sligo in the All-Ireland JFC semi-final.

The sides meet in the penultimate stage of the campaign on Saturday afternoon and they go into the match as strong favourites to progress to the decider.

However, Wallace stressed to the Kerryman that Sligo will have the work done ahead of the semi final and added that they won't be taking their opponents for granted.

"I would expect them to be well drilled by Pat Flanagan and they have a great defensive system in place which will mean that we will have to move the ball quicker to counter," said Wallace.

He added: "If we manage to match them for intensity then I would be confident that pure Kerry football will win it out for us. The lads showed what they are capable of against a well prepared Cork team in the Munster final and I hope that they will be able to do the same on Saturday."
