Danny Sutcliffe would love to see the Fenway Hurling Classic become a regular event.

The Dublin All Star forward thoroughly enjoyed the experience of playing the 11-a-side game in front of nearly 28,000 spectators in Boston last Sunday.

"Yeah, you could see it maybe as a series, like the way the rugby team travel abroad. Obviously the players want to go back but also, the people over there wanted us back," Sutcliffe told the Irish Daily Star at the awarding of scholarships for the DCU Business School Masters Scholarship Programme yesterday.

"They wanted to see more of the game. The kids were mad for it. they just kept asking when we're coming back. I know there's talk of Chicago and the All Stars are in Texas, but Fenway was great.

"I was reading the Boston Globe the following morning and they gave it a great review. They were blown away by the goalkeepers.

"I think Irish people should appreciate the enthusiasm the people over there had for it. They were really blown away by it, to be honest."
