Kehoe Cup Shield: Trinity trounced by Orchard

February 01, 2010
Armagh bounced back from last weekend's defeat to Kildare when they eased to a 4-13 to 0-6 victory over Trinity College Dublin yesterday.

The writing was on the wall for the students at half-time when Paul Cunningham's goal helped the Orchard County to a 1-9 to 0-2 lead. It continued to be one-way traffic in the second half with Fiachra Bradley, Ger Enright and Paul Breen all finding the net for Paul Kelly's charges.

Speaking afterwards, Kelly was refusing to get carried away with the result: "It was a good display, but we expect a much tougher game against Fingal, which is effectively Dublin's B team, in the next round on Wednesday."
