The Late Brendan O'Carroll The parish was saddened and shocked by the sudden death at his home of Brendan O'Carroll, Moyvane South. Brendan was only 41 years of age. Originally from Tullamore, Listowel, he played as goalkeeper for Listowel Emmets and played in the North Kerry Championship final against Tarbert which was played in Moyvane in the 1980's. He played football later with Clounmacon. He was active with the local underage football teams in Moyvane over the last number of years. His remains were removed to Moyvane Church. He was buried in Ahavoher cemetery following Requiem Mass, he is survived by his wife Betty, sons, daughters, mother, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
