Galway under-21 captain Paul Killeen admits that a poor start to last weekend's All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Limerick played a part in their downfall.
The Shannonsiders ran out winners by six points, and they paved the way for their success with a great start to the game as they lead by 0-10 to 0-04 at one stage.
Speaking to the Connacht Tribune he said: "They got a run on us early on, but we seem to have weathered that and we also got the first score of the second half. We needed to add a couple of more points, but their goal was a killer.
"They also knew what they were about and were battle hardened."
