Galway manager Anthony Cunningham is expected to, once again, trust Jason Flynn with the free-taking duties for Saturday's Leinster SHC semi-final against Laois.

Flynn raised nine white flags after taking over the frees from Joe Canning for the quarter-final replay victory over Dublin in Tullamore.

"The frees was the management's decision," Cunningham explained to The Irish Independent.

"Joe was carrying an injury into the game, but we have many free takers.

"It's not the first time that we've move them around.

"Conor Cooney took frees the year before. Jason took the frees in previous games too, so we have no problem changing other lads on to them."
