Galway selector Brian Silke is adamant that they are not looking beyond the Leitrim game.

The Tribesmen are expected to come through this Connacht SFC clash, but Silke stressed to the Tuam Herald that they would be taking nothing for granted.

"Leitrim won their last three league games, it's in Carrick-on-Shannon, it's a big challenge. They have been getting the edge on Galway age-grade teams over the last few years."

Leitrim will be without their talisman Emlyn Mulligan who has opted off the panel this year, but they still have some good quality players in their ranks and this one could be a lot closer than many predict.
