Former All-Star David Burke has emerged as a major doubt for Galway's Leinster SHC clash against Dublin.
The 25-year-old picked up a hand injury in club action with St Thomas' over the weekend having just returned from a quad complaint which sidelined him during the Tribesmen's league campaign.
"This is a huge game coming up and we're training very hard to be honest with you," manager Anthony Cunningham told The Irish Daily Mirror.
"With a full round of club games you are always praying that nobody gets injured, but there is always the chance that there'll be a knock or two."
Burke's club-mate Conor Cooney will definitely miss the date with Dublin having suffered a recurrence of a foot injury while Daithi Burke is also a doubt with a hand injury.
