The quarter-finals of the County Cup Senior Hurling Championship will take place over the weekend of September 27th-28th.

A great weekend's action is in prospect, with games including the meeting of holders Portumna and Loughrea.

Ardrahan will lock horns with Turloughmore, while Gort do battle with Killimordaly and Craughwell face Tommy Larkin's.

Last weekend, Portumna eliminated Athenry, while Loughrea ousted Mullagh and Beagh fell victim to Turloughmore.

Ardrahan defeated Carnmore; Cruaghwell got the better of Rynagh-Abbey-Duniry; and Gort were too good for Kilnadeema-Leitrim.

Meanwhile, Killimordaly and Tommy Larkin's saw off Sarsfields and Clarinbridge respectively.
