Galway city will be the venue for one of the ten 'Super Games Centres' around the country that is to host a new GAA pilot programmed.

The aim of the programme is to promote the GAA amongst teenagers and to put a stop to the fall out of this age group turning their backs on Gaelic games.

Colaiste Mhuirlinne (Merlin College secondary school) in the city has been chosen as the venue for the centre which will begin from next week.

It is to be run over the course of eight months and participants will be treated to a new experience within the GAA world.
