There are ten nominations for the Galway minor football manager's role.

The Galway County Board are due to begin the interviewing process over the coming weeks as they seek to find a successor to John Donnellan.

Even though, there are ten candidates in the running, the selection committee can appoint someone else if they feel that the nominees don't fit the bill.

The nominees are former Galway minor manager Tommie Joyce, Matt Duggan (Annaghdown), Kevin Johnson (Salthill/Knocknacarra), Stephen Joyce (Clonbur), Matt Lawless (Barna), Terence Morgan (Moycullen), Tom Newell (Kilconly), Michael Quinn (St Brendan's) and Des Sheeran (Salthill/Knocknacarra).
